History of Jubilee Garage
In 2003, brothers Paul and Chris established Jubilee Garage. From humble beginnings in the garage at their parents’ house, to their current location over more than 20 years in business, Jubilee has gained a good reputation and a huge customer base.
For the Ellis Brothers, mechanics has always been in their blood, as they followed in their grandfather's footsteps who started his garage in 1954. The business is totally independent, meaning it is able to provide its core services of MOTs, repairs and servicing to any make and model of car, van, 4x4 or electric vehicle to customers in Deeside, North Wales, Chester and Cheshire. It has established a reputation as one of the best garages in the region that prides itself on offering the same quality of service as a major dealer at the same price as a local garage.
A loyal customer base has been established by the garage who return time and time again for their motoring needs. Keeping the business in the family is something very important to Paul and Chris, and they have created a family feel among the staff and clientele.

Meet The Team
Chris Ellis
Director/MOT Tester
Chris is one of the business owners alongside his brother Paul and has over 30 years experience in the field. He is an MOT tester and qualified technician, gaining experience when he was younger working as an HGV, truck and bus technician for many years - giving him expansive knowledge about a range of vehicles. In his free time he loves sailing and volunteers for the RNLI.
Paul Ellis
Director/MOT Tester
Paul is one of the business owners alongside his older brother Chris, who worked hard together founding Jubilee over 20 years ago and bringing the garage to the success it is today - as well as being an MOT tester and qualified technician for over 25 years. He is also a member of the 4x4 response team across North Wales. Paul is a real people person and in his spare time he often travels abroad in his motorhome with his family.
Alice
Admin Manager
Alice is one of our reception team members, who has now begun her AAT accounting course and works on other behind the scenes projects. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, travelling to car shows across the country and loves all things maths. She helps the garage to run smoothly day in, day out and is always happy to help customers.
Eleanor
Receptionist
Eleanor is one of our friendly receptionists alongside her sister Alice and she is one of the newest additions to the team at Jubilee. She enjoys horse riding outside of work, which means she tows with her beloved 4x4 that is kept in top working order by Team Jubilee. Eleanor is the main customer hot spot for anyone that requires our services and is always happy to help no matter if the problem may be big or small. She also manages the team's social media.
Kai
Technician/MOT Tester
Kai is an MOT tester, and our top auto electrical and diagnostics whiz at Jubilee Garage and is the longest serving employee, working with Paul and Chris for over 15 years. He started at the garage doing work experience at 14 years old and has evolved into the highly skilled tech that he is today. He has a keen interest in motorsport engineering and is working towards a degree in the field. When he isn’t taking his daughters on adventures at the weekends, he loves go karting and Formula One.
Jonathan
Technician/MOT Tester
Jon is an MOT tester and top technician and has been working with us for over 10 years. He likes to tackle the challenging and mechanically complex jobs that come through our doors. He spends most of his time working on vehicles in and out of work, and owns and enjoys motorbikes and a one of kind 1968 Hillman Minx which he has spent years building from the ground up and is now in mint show condition.
Ryan
Technician/MOT Tester
Ryan is one of our MOT testers and highly trained technicians and generally takes on the role of workshop manager for the day to day running of the garage. He has worked at Jubilee Garage for close to 10 years and enjoys helping customers as the people person that he is. Ryan enjoys days out with his family and has a hobby of collecting pokemon cards which he shares with his son.
Mindaugas
Technician
Mindaugas is one of our vehicle technicians and has been working with the team for over a year. In his spare time he loves to go to the gym, lifting weights and he also enjoys travelling, hiking and chasing scenic views.
Oliver
Apprentice Technician
Oli is our team’s senior apprentice who has matured and grown into his role over the last few years. He has shown his enthusiasm in the job in modifying and working on his own project vehicles in his free time and also enjoys going out at the weekend with his friends. He would eat Haribo for every meal if he could and has a real sweet tooth.
Jake
Apprentice Technician
Jake is currently our youngest apprentice technician and is looking forward to becoming a fully qualified technician soon. He enjoys playing football outside of work representing as a goal keeper for Aston Park Rangers - also being the tallest tech at Jubilee! Jake also enjoys driving now that he has recently passed his test.
